Welcome to Wirral Grammar School for Boys
Most secondary schools in the country now have a specialist focus of some kind. Our choice of specialism is 'Business & Enterprise', which is an ideal focus for a school like ours.
Boys typically go on to pursue successful careers in leading and shaping both public and private organisations. During their time at school, students participate in wide-ranging enterprise activities from Fairtrade and Young Enterprise, through to the Student Investor Challenge 2007, Outdoor Enterprise at the Conway Centre in North wales and the innovative 'Take the Stage' competition, which helped to raise money for Cancer Research UK, our school charity.
Teamwork, Communication and Problem Solving are skills that we encourage and nurture in all the boys. Curriculum leaders try, wherever possible, to embed enterprise education within their own schemes of work, and as a result, Wirral Grammar School for Boys is establishing itself as one of the most successful Business & Enterprise Schools in the country, with a key role in developing Business & Enterprise in the North West.
