During Enterprise week, Year 9 went down to Garston Village Hall to design their ‘Young Persons Community Café’. It was a tough challenge, but they worked in teams and came up with some fantastic ideas.
Students worked very hard as there was a great deal to be done in order to design the ideal Community Café. Mark Reeves-Catherall shown immense leadership skills with his team and they received a prize for ‘Best Teamwork’, well done to them!

All teams delivered presentations to a panel of judges, which included Mr Kerfoot, Paul Daly (manager of Garston Village Hall) and Lynnie Williams. That was as tough a panel as Simon Cowell and Co!!

By the end of the day a winning team was chosen due to their design, innovation, presentation and teamwork. However, the panel did inform us that this was not an easy decision due to the high quality of work the students had produced. Well done to the winning team!
A very enjoyable day for all the staff and students!
