www.dti.gov.uk/enterpriseguide  - excellent site. This guide sets out what enterprise is and how it can be incorporated into the curriculum. It gives examples across subject areas – well worth reading.

www.fsmed.org/resources/catalogues/resources_secondary.doc  - this is the Foundation for Small, Medium Enterprise (SME) development which is part of University of Durham. This is an excellent website displaying various resources for enterprise for schools. They produce An Enterprising Approach to Technology. They support the development of subject based enterprising learning and provide ideas for linkages between schools and the wider community

www.designcouncil.org.uk  - with the support or the Design Council, students can become involved in projects or activities linked to design and technology which are aimed at stimulating creativity and inspiring enterprise through exciting project work. Lots of good links to learning resources.

www.data.org.uk  - Data allows young people to design and make products, demonstrating their inventiveness and creativity through design and technology challenges or mini-enterprise activities. Lots of competitions too that students can get involved with.

http://www.f1inschools.co.uk  - The F1 in Schools project is run by Jaguar cars. It creates school team who compete in designing and manufacturing a fast Formula One model car. Excellent site.

www.tep.org.uk  - The Technology Enhancement Programme, which is part of the Warwick University Manufacturing Group, seeks to enhance and enrich technology education and training. They support the organisation of design and technology projects through industry/school partnerships. Downloadable resources available.
